Project:                Bayesian image reconstruction in positron emission tomography

During my PhD I investigated the iterative reconstruction methods for Positron Emission Tomography. To deal with the high level of noise much attention was given to the Bayesian probability. The PhD presents results on using: reconstruction maps, multi scale iteration methods, parallel reconstructions, advanced prior distributions.
